The Catalyst Awards support researchers to take an entrepreneurial approach, using their research to create impactful and scalable products and services that improve later life.

Award winners gain a £62,500 grant from UKRI (from a total fund of £1.25m for this round) and a structured programme of personal development, product and enterprise support from Zinc. Our application process is designed to be supportive and to help you develop your ideas. Over 50 researchers have benefited from being part of our cohorts so far.

Sign up for a workshop in December 2022  or January 2023 to discover how taking an entrepreneurial approach to research translation can help you make a real impact on later life.

You'll hear from current and previous award holders, get support to develop your application and have the opportunity to ask your questions. We highly recommend attendance for everyone who is considering making an application.

We are also hosting sessions for university professionals so that you can support academics in your institution.
